On the front of the box is depicted the time of the wedding procession called domumductio, which sanctioned the actual consummation of marriage. On either side of the frieze two heralds hold the banners of the families of the spouses. The frieze is framed by a complex decorative border like every other part of the manufactured tablets, engraved with continuous punching.
